Wild Heart VI (featuring all native Maine wildflowers)
I love doing these wild hearts. This is the largest one yet and definitely the most detailed.
At it’s core, the piece is an anatomical heart brought to life by a living landscape within. Bursting forth from the heart is a curated collection of native Maine wildflowers. Blue violets, red columbine, Maine aster, lupine, jack in the pulpit, goldenrod, and great white trillium are woven together and growing from the wild heart.
This one is fun in that you can display it in either vertical orientation and it makes sense. Whatever your preference, I hope you enjoy this one as much as I have.
